Browsing activity

Tings uses page openings, selected buttons, photo interactions, size-guide activity, successful additions to your bag, shipping options displayed, checkout error stages, and openings of secure payment to understand what shoppers find useful.

Optional activity uses a random identifier in this browser tab. A session ends after 30 minutes without a tracked action. Campaign and creative labels on the first link help us understand which posts and ads bring visitors here.

Browsing activity records do not include your name, email, IP address, or full URL query strings. Activity records are kept for up to 180 days and appear in the owner’s private dashboard. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for this optional activity.

When optional activity is on, we also attach that session’s campaign and creative labels to your website order to report which promotions lead to verified payments and refunds. These links are kept for up to 180 days. This internal reporting does not send your order details to Meta or other ad platforms. Turning optional activity off prevents new activity links to orders.

Turning this off does not delete past activity, stop an action you request, or change your orders. If you tap a Coming Soon interest button, we still save that request so it can be counted. Clearing browser storage resets this preference.

Reddit advertising

Reddit tracking is optional and stays off until you choose Allow Reddit. When enabled, the Reddit Pixel shares page visits, products viewed, sizes added to your bag, and confirmed paid purchases with Reddit to measure advertising and help show relevant ads. Purchase events include product identifiers, quantities, currency, and order value. We do not add your name, email, phone, delivery address, or payment details to these events. Reddit may receive device and network information, including your IP address, and use its advertising cookies.

Checkout and owner-dashboard pages do not load the Pixel. Purchase tracking uses a server-verified paid order; opening a confirmation page alone does not count as a purchase. Browser settings, ad blockers, or leaving before payment verification can prevent reporting.

We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track for Reddit tracking. You can change your choice here at any time. Turning tracking off stops future sharing from this browser; it does not remove information already received by Reddit. See Reddit’s privacy policy for its handling of data and choices. Clearing browser storage resets your choice to off.

Email list

If you join the Tings email list, we save the email address, optional name, selected product or size, signup source, consent date, and subscription status you provide. We use this information for the release, restock, and occasional offer emails described beside the form. Mailchimp processes these details for Tings to manage the list, unsubscribes, and email delivery. Submitting the signup form subscribes you immediately; no confirmation email is required.

You can unsubscribe through an individual link in an email or by contacting Tings. An unsubscribe made through Tings or Mailchimp is synchronized so the address stays excluded from marketing.

Order contact details are used to process and support purchases. Placing an order does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

For questions, corrections, deletion requests, or help unsubscribing, email Tings.
